Learning and Development Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated, curious, and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our employees, driving organizational growth, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and managing the administration of our learning programs. As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating learning opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives and contribute to the professional development and growth of our people.
Primary Responsibilities:
Program Administration and Development:
Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop comprehensive learning programs.
Support the design engaging and effective training materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and other learning resources.
Manage the logistical aspects of Learning and Development programs, including scheduling, participant registration, and materials distribution.
Monitor and report on program attendance, completion, and effectiveness.
Support other People Operations such as performance management, engagement efforts, and people data management.
Implementation and Facilitation:
Assist in the execution of training programs using various delivery methods, ensuring an effective learning experience.
Conduct or facilitate learning opportunities for employees at all levels using adult learning principles.
Learning Technology Management:
Stay abreast of learning technologies and tools to enhance the delivery and accessibility of learning opportunities.
Integrate and maintain technology solutions to optimize the learning experience and streamline training administration.
Learning Culture Promotion:
Champion a learning culture by promoting the importance of continuous development and fostering a growth mindset.
Organize learning events, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to encourage ongoing professional growth.
Ability to travel to other offices.
What you bring to Yes Energy (Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience of at least 1-2 years as a Learning and Development Specialist or in a similar supporting role.
Demonstrated commitment to promoting and fostering a positive learning culture and growth mindset within an organization.
Experience organizing learning events, workshops, or knowledge-sharing sessions.
Skills:
Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies and curriculum development.
Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training-related technologies.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to own and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams, department heads, and subject matter experts to identify training needs.
Ability to develop learning objectives and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of learning programs.
Attention to detail in managing program logistics and reporting.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Compensation $70,000 - $90,000
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Yes Energy’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
