Job Description

We are hiring a Sr. Talent Development Specialist to join our team in Denver, CO.  This is an in-office role, with a flexible work environment.  

The Sr. Talent Development Specialist supports AIR Communities by curating, designing, developing, and facilitating a variety of programs to support training initiatives across the organization. The Specialist reports to the Sr. Director of Talent Management and works closely with both HR and business leaders to ensure all training is consistent with company standards.  This person creates innovative, customized training for all Team Member programs, assists with facilitation when needed and supports the entire team with content creation that appeals to adult learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to curate, design, develop, modify, and implement new and existing training programs throughout the organization. These programs support onboarding, leadership development, systems, compliance, and skills-based training needs.
  • Develop an understanding of AIR Communities business model and key objectives and prioritize your work in a way that contributes to the business goals.
  • Communicate and circulate training content to the company utilizing internal communication tools (email, Webex, sms, etc.)
  • Design and update learning materials including e-learns, presentations, facilitator guides, SharePoint sites, videos, and job aids.  Incorporates ongoing evaluation feedback into materials on a continuous basis.
  • Acts as systems administrator for learning management system (LMS), ensuring enrollments and course offerings are up to date and available as needed.
  • Optimize the delivery of content to teammates.
  • Creates engaging online modules using Articulate Storyline and other similar tools.
  • Manage multiple projects at any given point in time.
  • Develops and nurtures strong relationships with teammates and business leaders.  Regularly gathers needs assessment information to identify and address development needs through effective training solutions.
  • Provides guidance and support to department leaders to incorporate adult learning principles into systems and compliance training upon request.  
  • Supports L&OD team with facilitation of leadership, onboarding, compliance, and systems training as needed.
  • Films and edits engaging videos for use in training and other initiatives.
  • Updates and maintains L&OD SharePoint pages and resources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design, Communications, Education, or related area.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management and organization skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively.
  • Ability to utilize technology to design, update, create and implement both virtual and in-person training materials.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Proficient in Articulate Storyline,  Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other similar graphic design tools.
  • Experience with creating, and editing video content.

Additional Information

AIR offers attractive total compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance at the individual, team and company levels. We start with a competitive base salary and add bonus opportunities and benefit choices topped off with:

  • Salary range of $80,000 - $90,00,000.  You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
