Servicing Portfolio and Escrow Specialist Organization:
Impact Development Fund (IDF) is a community-based nonprofit 501c3 organization with a mission to create economic opportunity by delivering flexible capital to strengthen under-served Colorado communities. IDF’s primary focus is providing direct capital to support affordable housing development and preservation, non-profit community facilities, and energy efficiency upgrades to commercial real estate projects. IDF is certified by the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and embodies the concept of public-private partnership through its investor network that includes banks, foundations, private interests, local and federal government.
Responsibilities:
Loan Accounts Receivable and Maintenance:
- Retrieve, deposit, and book loan payments within servicing and reporting platforms.
- Prepare daily Borrower Payment Register Packages checking for accuracy with the bank.
- Set up ACH transfers and/or periodic issuance of payment invoices according to loan terms.
- Conduct necessary intercompany transfers for loan origination and fees.
- Establish and maintain lender profiles within IDF’s servicing software and reporting platforms.
- Maintain escrow accounts and payments of insurance, property taxes and HOA.
- Ensure all borrower communication is logged into the servicing platform.
- Perform reconciliation of escrow accounts as dictated by individual program requirements.
Reporting and Audit:
- Monthly, quarterly, yearly reconciliation of borrower, lender, and portfolio accounts.
- Monthly and quarterly reporting to lenders and credit reporting agencies.
- Prepare and reconcile reports from software platforms to ensure accurate and complete information.
- Prepare supporting information and assist in completing all required external reporting and investor reports.
- Provide necessary reports for reconciliation of accounting, banking, and portfolio activity.
General:
Work as “One Team” and provide backup support as needed to other area of the organization. Represent IDF in the community including building strong working relationships with community partners including other CDFIs, non-profits, CHFA, and municipalities. All employees are responsible for customer and client inquiry routing (phone, emails, mail, deliveries, etc.).
