Responsibilities: • Instruct infant to preschool aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth • Create a fun and safe learning environment • Follow schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents • Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress • Create lesson plans that follow Creative Curriculum • Maintain positive relationships with various resource agencies

Qualifications: • Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate preferred • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields preferred • Knowledge of KDHE licensing, CACFP food program, curriculum based methods, and positive discipline methods preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must pass KBI background check required by KDHE licensing • Must complete training prior to engaging in classroom responsibilities
