Job Summary:
Welch Equipment Company is seeking a talented and experienced Instructional Designer. The Instructional Designer is responsible for creating high quality, engaging, and innovative learning solutions that align with Welch’s company goals and objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to create engaging and learner-centered content.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs and objectives.
- Design and develop instructional materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training materials, videos, and interactive simulations.
- Utilize instructional design models and best practices (e.g., ADDIE) to create engaging and effective learning solutions.
- Ensure content is accessible, culturally sensitive, and aligned with diversity and inclusion principles
- Incorporate multimedia elements, such as graphics, animations, and audio to enhance learning experiences.
- Create and maintain assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes and effectiveness of training programs.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in instructional design and eLearning.
- Collaborate with the appropriate teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration of training programs.
- Participate in quality assurance processes and conduct regular reviews and updates of existing training materials.
- Provide guidance and support to trainers and facilitators in delivering content effectively.

- Maintain project documentation and course folders.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required (master’s degree preferred), preferably in instructional design, instructional technology, or educational technology.
- A minimum of ten years’ proven experience as an Instructional Designer or similar role designing, developing, and delivering emerging learning solutions. Portfolio of previous projects required.
- Strong proficiency with industry standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Storyline and Captivate), and Learning Management Systems.
- Knowledge of adult learning theories, pedagogical theories, and instructional design modules.
- Strong project management skills to achieve design target timelines and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
