Lead Digital Product Owner

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Digital Product Owner to join the Small Business Digital team within SDI. We are focused on innovating and transforming with the customer at the center, better enabling customers to engage with us how, when, and wherever they choose. SDI’s Small Business Digital Team supports all Small Business lines of businesses to digitize and enable small business customers to apply for products and manage them digitally.

This individual will help drive the evolution and implementation of key digital capabilities that will transform the digital experience for our Small Business products. This includes collaboration with our Product Management leaders & line of business (LOB) partners to lead your scrum team to deliver the best digital customer experience for our Small Business customers. This individual must be a strong team player with exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, who thrives as an independent contributor, yet is able to leverage leadership acumen to build credibility and direct matrixed resources in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

In this role, you will:

• Lead a team responsible for building and executing on the strategy to increase client digital engagement and satisfaction in support of Small Bus. This includes partnering with numerous small business stakeholders, technology, XD and WF enterprise partners to enable small business customers to digitally apply and manage various products.
• Partner with Product Manager and the project team to refine the business requirements and assist in building and prioritizing the product backlog.
• Manage, refine, and prioritize the scrum’s backlog.
• Develop acceptance criteria for user stories based on the product requirements to ensure successful delivery.
• Be responsible for building and executing on a strategy to further help our clients with their needs through our digital origination channel, as well as partnering with marketing and the bank branch network on growth and acquisition strategies.
• Assist the Product Manager in breaking down the product strategy and strategic roadmap into quarterly and sprint level goals and priorities.
• Collaborate with all levels of professionals, including peers, Scrum Team, and the Leadership team to influence the product vision and priorities.
• Be accountable for understanding and mitigating associated risks for digital client experience ensuring thorough documentation of controls and procedures.
• Act as a liaison between the stakeholders and the delivery team during planning, execution, and ongoing operations to optimize capabilities, maximize customer value, and align expectations.
• Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Digital Product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Agile experience
• 1+ year of small business digital or financial industry experience
• Knowledge of consumer lending or deposits products
• Knowledge and understanding of API/ Micro Services programming
• Knowledge and understanding of business requirements gathering and translation to technical requirements
• Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or JIRA
• Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
• Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
• Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic objectives

• Ideally have knowledge small business products.

Job Expectations:

• Must be willing to commit to working on site in one of the following locations: New York City, NY; Charlotte, NC; San Francisco Bay Area, CA. No other locations will be considered.
• Locations: 333 Market Street, San Francisco, CA; 150 E 42nd St, NY, New York; Three Wells Center, Charlotte, NC.

Pay Range for San Francisco Bay Area & New York, NY :

$115,900-206,100
