About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Digital Product Manager for Quality and Test Engineering (QTE) in our Chief Development Office (CDO) organization. The organization enables modern & reliable Developer Experience platforms (DevX Platforms) that further elevates end-end developer experience, through predictable, prioritized yet prescriptive technology services that development & engineering teams rely upon for their success.

We are looking for Sr. technology leaders, who will focus on enabling Software Quality engineering, further elevating the current value stream for software delivery with improved Quality and developer experience. This leader’s role will be to support the engineering community's ability to release quality software through agile delivery across all Wells Fargo Customer Journeys, Products, Applications and Services. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of an Enterprise quality engineering and Testing strategy, frameworks, best practices, guiding principles, products/platforms, and tooling to enable automated testing, environment provisioning/test data management, test execution with optimal controls for all phases and types of testing within the SDLC.


In this role, you will:

  • Strategic Development: Define, assess, update, and communicate a clear product vision and strategy. Lead the vision and roadmap for Development Enablement Product ensuring alignment with the Wells Fargo bank domain architecture, product model, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partner Product Managers and technical leadership to define objectives, key results, and a roadmap that delivers features increasing engagement with customers and each line of business objectives.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle for the Development Enablement Product or the Quality and Test Engineering Product from concept to deployment. Provide performance metrics, financial objectives, and feature iteration that increase customer engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Leverage market experience and analysis to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, translating technical details into business value and driving consensus across the WF lines of business.


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Digital Product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading application development & delivery teams supporting major line of business and/or horizontal technology services for the firm.
  • Experience with leading quality, test, performance & reliability engineering frameworks with modern application development platforms and practices.
  • Experience with secure DevOps and deployment automation to cloud environments.
  • Agile experience with an Agile practitioner mindset understanding common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and iterative development practices and tools.
  • Experience with Private and Public Cloud environments.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussions to explore the best viable solutions and possess the ability to lead.
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members.
  • Evaluate growth options, assess new opportunities, and identify blockers including turning strategy into cross-functional aligned efforts.
  • Understanding of Information Technology governance risk and compliance processes
  • Ability to influence and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, at all levels of the organization, including senior executive-level leadership.

Pay Range

$120,400.00 - $287,600.00
