Wells Fargo is seeking a DigitalSenior LeadProduct Manager to join the Small Business Digital team within SDI (Strategy Digital and Innovation). This individual will support our Small Business Deposits team. Consumer, Small & Business Banking (CSBB) serves consumer, small, and business banking customers through all digital channels, approximately 4,300 retail branches, over 11,000 ATMs, and 19 customer service centers. CSBB is focused on innovating and transforming with the customer at the center, better enabling customers to engage with us how, when, and wherever they choose. The Small Business Deposits team is part of the CSSB organization. SDI’s Small Business Digital Team supports CSBB’s Small Business Lending and Deposits lines of business to digitize and enable Small Business customers to apply for lending and deposits products.

This individual will help drive the evolution and implementation of key digital capabilities that will transform the digital experience for our Small Business Deposits products. This includes collaboration with our Product Management leaders & line of business (LOB) partners to lead your scrum team to deliver the best digital customer experience for our Small Business customers. This individual must be a strong team player with exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, who thrives as an independent contributor, yet is able to leverage leadership acumen to build credibility and direct matrixed resources in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team responsible for building and executing on the strategy to increase client digital engagement and satisfaction in support of Small Business priority to digitize our deposits businesses. This includes partnering with numerous Small Business stakeholders, CSBB technology, and WF enterprise partners to enable Small Business customers to digitally apply for various products

  • Act as an advisor to Senior Leadership to develop or influence products, , programs, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs for Small Business Deposits products

  • Partner with other Product Managers and the project team to refine the business requirements and assist in building and prioritizing the product backlog

  • Responsible for building and executing on a strategy to further help our clients with their needs through our digital origination channel, as well as partnering with marketing and the bank branch network on growth and acquisition strategies.

  • Assist the Product team in breaking down the product strategy and strategic roadmap into quarterly and sprint level goals and priorities.

  • Collaborate with all levels of professionals, including peers, Scrum Team, and the Leadership team to influence the product vision and priorities.

  • Be accountable for understanding and mitigating associated risks for digital client experience ensuring thorough documentation of controls and procedures.

  • Act as a liaison between the stakeholders and the delivery team during planning, execution, and ongoing operations to optimize capabilities, maximize customer value, and align expectations.

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Digital Product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading large scale transformational initiatives in financial services companies

  • Executive leadership experience managing complex technological large scale cross functional initiatives in a large-scale dynamic organization preferably financial services.

  • Leadership experience driving process change in a large, cross LOB financial services company

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio of technology efforts across several major lines of business and effectively partner/influence at the senior executive level.

  • Broad experience across multiple areas of technology including architecture, infrastructure, application development with strong understanding of leading edge as well as legacy and distributed technology to effectively manage the complex and diverse applications portfolio.

  • Highly effective decision-making/critical thinking/problem solving skills with a collaborative and results oriented leadership style.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of financial, operational, technical and regulatory drivers impacting a complex and dynamic global technology environment.

  • Knowledge and understanding of API/ Micro Services programming

  • Knowledge and understanding of business requirements gathering and translation to technical requirements

  • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or JIRA

  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic objectives

  • Knowledge of Small Business deposits products and branch operations – nice to have

Job Expectations:

  • Must be willing to commit to working on site in one of the following locations: New York City, NY; Wilmington, DE; Charlotte, NC; San Francisco Bay Area, CA. No other locations will be considered. Relocation assistance not available.

Pay Range

$120,400.00 - $287,600.00
