Front Desk Receptionist
Duties:
-Commute to Taft on Mondays, milage is compensated
-Work from Lamont Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls to appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and assist with answering calls
- Check patients in and out, collect payments, verify insurance information and check eligibility for walk in patients
-Update patient demographics if needed
-Maintain the office and lobby clean
- Assist with training new employees
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure patient satisfaction
- Perform general office tasks such as data entry, photocopying, and faxing
-Assist with incoming faxes
-Assist with other departments as needed
-Must be able to commute and have a valid driver's license
Skills:
- Previous experience in customer service or as a receptionist, preferably in medical office setting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
