This position will be based in Shreveport, LA.
Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift
• Analyze samples following provided methods. Use of UV, wet variation, LOD, TLC, water by KF, IR, TOC and Dissolution instrumentation
• Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Document laboratory results and calculations. Prepare test reports. Conduct statistical analysis
• Coordinate sample receipt, filing and disposal. Prepare samples for analysis
• Comply with Corporate Safety and Housekeeping standards. Maintain clean glassware, purchasing and inventory.
• Follow company Standard Operating Procedures and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations
• Must be able to work flexible work shifts including days, weekends, & nights.0pm).
Experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills, necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities:
• Education: Associate or Bachelor Degree in a science-related degree preferred.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year
• Working knowledge of cGMP’s preferred
• Personal computer skills. (Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheet experience preferred.)
• Must be able to handle a large number of complex administrative details
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to handle multi task assignments on a regular basis
