HCI Systems, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Labor Compliance/Payroll Administrator to join our team in Ontario, CA. This vital role will involve processing multi-state payroll, with a specific focus on state and federal compliance, particularly in the electrical industry. Primary Responsibilities:
Processing Payroll:
- Manage multi-state payroll for employees.
- Specialize in state public works jobs within the electrical industry.
- Process payroll with state-listed wages, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Generate comprehensive compliance reports.
Apprenticeship Compliance:
- Fill out and send out DAS 140/142
- Focus on apprenticeship compliance within the electrical industry.
Federal Public Works Jobs:
- Process payroll for federal public works jobs within the electrical industry.
- Maintain adherence to state-listed wages and federal compliance requirements.
- Compile and report on compliance data.
Additional Duties:
- Ensure day-to-day processing of payroll operations is smooth and efficient.
- Guarantee strict adherence to state and federal labor laws.
- Stay up to date with weekly state and federal compliance documents.
- Fill out Fringe Benefit Statements per employee per public works job.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in payroll processing and labor compliance is preferred.
- Knowledge of the electrical industry's specific payroll and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in processing multi-state payroll.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Keen understanding of state and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Prior experience with LCP Tracker, DIR, eMARS, PRISM is preferred.
