Are you good with numbers? We are seeking a fulltime Accounting team member. We are looking for an outgoing, driving individual who would be responsible for maintaining financial, accounting, payroll, administrative and customer service. We are looking for someone who is customer service focused and is a glass half-full person.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Candidate will report to Controller to assist in processing payroll and certified payroll
- Review Davis Bacon or Public Works compliance with Payroll
- Verify employee hours
- Analyze OT hours company wide.
- Active participation in process improvement efforts
- Assist in completing Certified Payroll Reports
- Must provide strong and clear oral and written communication, and be able to respond to routine inquires in a timely manner
- Must have strong follow-up skills as well as interpersonal skills.
- Recent working knowledge of software including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Advanced organizational and administration skills and ability to prioritize and complete tasks within tight deadlines.
- Ability to work to high standards of accuracy
- Strong work ethic and team player mentality
- Must have a positive outlook (glass half-full person)
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate ‘s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Construction Background a plus
- Computer literate with working knowledge of accounting software, MS Office, Excellent with Excel, Work and Outlook.
- High degree of self-discipline with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
