Job Description
The Labor Compliance Specialist is in contact with owners, customers, and subcontractors, which requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism.
An applicant with experience in Accounting or Payroll would transition into this role as well.
Qualifications
The Certified Payroll Administrator must have a minimum of one (1) years’ experience submitting Certified Payroll and working knowledge of various Labor Compliance requirements within the construction industry.
LCP Tracker, Elations, WorkForce Go & DIR system experience
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Effective and Professional Communication Skills
Experience Using Certified Payroll Software
Problem solving skills with attention to detail
Self-directed with a high level of initiative and a “can do” attitude
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Willing and able to cross train and take on a variety of tasks as needed

High school or equivalent (Required)
Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for Certified Payroll reporting, Labor Compliance, prevailing wage compliance on public and federal work as a GC and subcontractor
Certified payroll reporting & uploading to the DIR (eCPR)
Construction project Labor Compliance
Prevailing wage compliance for public and federal work as a general contractor and subcontractor
Compliance & fringe benefits regulations on public works projects with general contractor Labor Compliance monitor
Collection of Sub Certified Payroll, Up Front Documents, and Fringe Benefit Statements
Ensuring Sub Contractors are uploading their Payroll to the DIR website (eCPR)
Auditing Sub Certified Payroll as needed
Knowledge & Skills
Proficient in using a computer and the below listed programs:
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Knowledge of DIR website and eCPR
Must have strong organization and time management skills, and the ability to self-motivate.
Ability to multi-task under time constraints and working effectively as a team player in a professional office environment.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance
. • Tactful, professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, vendors and others.
Knowledge of Public Works law and labor codes
