We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Lab Tech/Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to our healthcare professionals. The main role of this position is functioning as our lead in the lab.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients, and escort them to the examination room
- Take vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, weight, and height
- Record patients' medical history and symptoms in electronic health records (EHRs)
- Phlebotomy - draw blood and prepare for lab evaluation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ensure compliance with patient privacy regulations (HIPAA) and infection control protocols

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience drawing blood
- Completion of a medical assistant program desired but not required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EHRs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
