Job Description:
This position affords the opportunity to become familiar with breakthrough genomics technologies, platforms and processes. The successful candidate will receive training in HMW and uHMW DNA isolation, and familiarize with optical mapping, sequencing and other molecular biology strategies in support of ongoing plant genetics and breeding research programs. The candidate will perform bench-level molecular biology techniques, operate analytical instruments and ultimately record, compile and verify the accuracy of experimental data. He or she will be expected to assist in the comparison, development and deployment of protocols as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
