In 1988, the company opened its first restaurant in Syracuse and has continued to grow to six locations serving delicious Bar-B-Que throughout New York State. We are currently looking for a Kitchen Manager to join our New York City team at our Harlem location!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Kitchen Manager’s role is to provide uncompromised excellence at all times, making the Guest and the Bar-B-Que the heart and passion of all they do.

• Ensures the greatest degree of Hospitality to the Guests.
• Ensures consistent execution of all BOH systems and profitability by providing and ensuring quality training, coaching, and follow-through.
• Knowledge and practical application of all Kitchen (Expo, Smokehouse, prep and line quality identifiers and standards) and Dining Room systems and operations (ToGo, Host, Bar, and service standards).

Work Experience Requirements:

• 2 + years of chef, sous-chef or other culinary experience in a professional kitchen required.
• 2+ years Full-Service restaurant management experience required.
• 2+ years of BOH experience required.
• Knowledge of inventory and budgeting required.
• Chef experience preferred

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
