Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Kitchen Lead/Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, have a strong leadership presence, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
Ensure food quality and consistency by adhering to recipes and standards.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following health and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.
Handle customer inquiries and special requests regarding food preparation and allergies.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Kitchen Lead/Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure calmly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
