Mylk and Hummus is a startup that aims to hit on flavorful pulse foods (hummus), that use local ingredients when able. We have big goals in these exciting and challenging times. At the moment we are establishing a presence at farmers markets, local wholesale accounts, and online grocery distribution. We are looking for someone who would be interested in going on this journey.
In the kitchen, the current need is for batch production to meet the current demand including:
- Preparing work area - sanitizing
- Preparing ingredients - cutting/roasting vegetables, toasting seeds, etc
- pureeing and filling packaging
- labeling
- cleanup work space
- raw material/finish product inventory management
- maintaining finished product inventory
Kitchen tasks are roughly 20+ hr flexible shifts every week to start and increase as we get into more accounts.
Market/Event Associate tasks include:
-loading finished hummus into coolers
-transport and setup tent, table, and display for sale
-interact with and sell to customers
-gather data
-break down setup and transport back to kitchen

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 30 per week
