Position: Event Team Member/Cashier

Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our Event Team as Cashiers. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our guests during various events. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding products, services, and event information.
• Provide efficient and friendly service at all times.
• Cash Handling:
• Process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash register and perform cash reconciliations at the end of each shift.
• Order Processing:
• Take orders from guests, ensuring accuracy and attention to special requests.
• Prepare and package orders promptly and neatly.
• Coordinate with the kitchen or service team to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Maintaining Cleanliness:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and surrounding areas.
• Assist with cleaning duties as needed, including wiping down surfaces and restocking supplies.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation guidelines.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.
• Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to fulfill guest orders efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, or food service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.27 - $15.67 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
