ACCOUNT MANAGER

Rivet Events is an Atlanta-based Wedding and Entertainment company that exists to make memories last forever. We do this through Photography, Videography, DJ, Photobooth, and event planning services that help create a stress-free wedding or event experience. THE ROLE AND WHY IT'S IMPORTANT

At Rivet Events, client experience is of the utmost importance. As an Account Manager, you will be supporting the client experience by ensuring prompt communication through each stage of their journey with Rivet Events. You’ll serve couples by helping clients & teams communicate seamlessly as they plan and host an event that everyone will remember. You'll display enthusiasm and optimism to serve couples throughout the process!

The Account Manager acts as a critical link in connecting the Operations & Event Services Departments via consistent client communication. Account Managers must have a passion for excellent client care. They should be proficient in understanding and analyzing visual products. The Account Manager(s) must have demonstrated excellent and gracious communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in problem-solving.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INCLUDE:

Account Manager:

  • Oversee client care communication beginning with Event Services contact till off boarding:
  • Creating & maintaining client communication channels (including slack, monday.com, etc)
  • Support clients in contacting specific Event Services Team Members as needed.
  • Informing clients of necessary adjustments to assigned Team Members, timelines, etc.
  • Receive, dispatch, and respond to as needed, client care requests.
  • Work with Operations Team to make schedule adjustments as needed and communicate these to clients in order to ensure shift coverage, deadlines, and the correct equipment is set up for each event
  • Respond to emails from contractors and clients on needs ranging from contracts, updates on projects, etc.

Event Services

  • Continue to lead event experiences through your choice as a Wedding Planner or other services.
  • Respond to client concerns about communication with staff, project timelines, and product quality.
  • Relay client concerns to the leadership team, assist in creating solutions and communicating them to clients.
  • Work with the Event Planning team to ensure flawless delivery of events by making sure all necessary equipment is prepared, helping schedule Team Members for events, managing client communication.

Sales

  • Promptly and accurately import leads from sales funnels into Rivet’s sales systems.
  • Assign new leads to Event Specialists.
  • Conduct sales outreach through phone calls and emails for 3, 3-hour segments weekly.

Reports To: Creative Lead. In the absence of Creative Lead, this role reports to Operations Manager

Base Compensation

  • $17/hr for Training (1 Month)
  • $20/hr Lead Planner
  • $22/hr Event Specialist
  • $1 raise every 6 months(Cap at $25/hr)

Sales Commission

Commissions: $10,000 - $30,000 annually

Example: 6-10 bookings monthly

  • 6 - $768 total average commission
  • 8 - $1,280 total average commission
  • 10 - $1,600 total average commission
  • Additional $1,152 - $2,800 quarterly based on goals
  • ex. 8 bookings/month would be $1,280 in commission and an additional $2,300 quarterly

Account Manager Bonus - $50 based on 5 star review

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
