The Maples Part-Time Event Team Member Position
We're looking for Team Members who are passionate about the event industry, kind, friendly, hard-working, reliable, responsible, and a quick learner!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee The Maples/Hidden Grove during events
- Work directly with top Wedding industry leaders
- Attend to client's needs
- Be part of essential team and oversee venue details
- Conduct tours and Rehearsals
- Conduct limited office-work
- Update Honeybook and manage event notes
- Direct parking
- Watch over Pool- no guests allowed
- Check DBA sound levels for Music
- Be a team player and work well with other Maples Team Members and Vendors
- Be available to work events during March-November with additional availability during December-March
- During non-event days, conduct tours of property
- Conduct other tasks as needed day-of, and be onsite during rehearsals
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Needs to have Weekend Availability- Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
- Ability to Multi-Task well
- Must be responsible and able to provide great guest service
Event Team member will be supplied 1 Maples Polo to wear during events. Team member is required to provide their own black dress pants, all black tennis shoes, and white/black jacket if needed.
Pay- $20/hour
Hours- Vary based on Events and Tours- Team will be given Events Calendar 1 month in advance
