Hive Cafe' is a small business in St. Louis, MO. We are fast-paced, customer-centric, challenging and our goal is to connect the community change-makers over coffee. We are a cyber cafe' that offers a robust breakfast and brunch menu in addition to cafe' drinks and a full bar.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in the culinary arts, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent customer service skills. The Head Cook will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of meals, ensuring that all recipes are followed correctly, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual to make their mark on our team.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers.
• Develop recipes and determine how to present the food.
• Order supplies and equipment as needed.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards.
• Ensure that all food preparation is done in accordance with safety regulations.
• Train new employees in food preparation, sanitation, safety procedures, and kitchen policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.05 - $20.54 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
