The Sayre Hospitality Group is seeking to hire four Team Members to serve as Event Setup/TeardownTeam Members. In this part-time position, the Team Members will participate in the setup of events and provide support to the catering team at the three Sayre Hospitality Group event venues: Greystone Event Center in Wooster, Waters Edge Event Center in Ashland, and White Oak Event Center located at The Pines in Orrville; specific duties include:

· Ensuring venue setup meets the expectations of the client (table placement, chairs, etc.)

· Setting up assigned event with all the needed props, culinary equipment, and linens

· Providing client with suggestions and feedback for a smooth and efficient setup experience

· Tearing down equipment/set-up items after an event (either same or next day)

· Assisting in maintaining and cleaning of props, china, flatware, and other equipment

To carry out these duties, the successful candidate must possess the following skills and abilities:

· Reading and interpreting venue setup layouts

· Using effective communication skills

· Working independently with little supervision during the setup cycle

· Ability to work quickly, effectively and efficiently during the setup of an event

· Problem solving skills

· Ability to interact with clients and guests in a kind, professional manner

· Possession of a valid driver’s license

· Ability to be carried on the company’s vehicular insurance

· Ability to follow directions

· Team player

· Ability to lift, move, rotate heavy items, including tables, chairs, China, portable dancefloor, risers

Job Type: Part-time

Pay range: $15-$20 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
