Responsibilities:

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.
Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Supervisor's responsibilities will include direct supervision of Accounts Receivable staff; monitoring customer aging; establishing credit terms for customers; planning and other responsibilities related to Accounts Receivable.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Ensure department transactional activities are complete and timely.
Credit assessment, risk management monitoring.
Keep accurate financial records and preparing clear and accurate report for informational, auditing, and operational use.
Resolution of escalated customer calls and complaints.
Payment plan and other credit negotiations.
Monitor Accounts Receivable Average Days Outstanding targets.
Month end and other periodic reconciliation analysis and reporting.
Ensure ABC compliance.
Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
Establish professional development plans for staff, provide performance feedback and mentorship.
Interview, hire and train new team members.
Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
Exercise administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact on people, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area.
Serve as primary liaison to Credit Manager.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related experience; OR High School Diploma and 7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related experience, and 1+ year of leadership experience.
Intermediate Microsoft Office computer skills and understanding of information systems concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with co-workers, managers, and team members to convey information and work direction.
Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and meet critical deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree.
Prior leadership experience.
