Jr. Graphic Designer

The Diamond Group Marketing Agency is a strategic digital marketing agency with headquarters in Wilmington, NC. We are seeking an experienced Jr. Graphic Designer with strong conceptual and design skills, but with an equally-strong production orientation. Web design and/or U/X experience desired and a big plus!

Your role, should you accept the mission:

As a Jr. Graphic Designer on the team, you will be in charge of conceptual design and development of marketing materials. These include responsive website design, marketing emails and landing pages, banner ads, videos and other digital marketing assets. You'll also play a role helping the leadership team build a great agency brand. In other words, we want to create amazing art that gets noticed, talked about and moves the needle for both our clients and our agency. Are you game?

Key functions:

• Drive timeliness and productivity of creative department with a consistent eye on quality
• Take lead on conceptual ideation and design of branding materials, leaning into scalable design team to optimize efficiency and profitability of the organization
• Establish overall visual and messaging language for annual campaigns
• Present annual campaigns, branding, and UX/wireframe concepts to clients with clarity and energy
• Supervise and mentor designer resources to produce, manage and deliver outstanding creative.
• Ability to manage workflow, multiple projects and deliver work on schedule
• Stay current with latest design and industry technology trends

Skills we're looking for:

• 2-5 years of design or relevant experience
• Portfolio website with compelling sample work
• Strong design and art direction background
• Excellent conceptual skills capable of delivering award-winning-caliber creative
• Experience with responsive web design
• HubSpot Growth-driven design (nice to have)
• Great typography and color management skills
• Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
