Department Description
The HPU Design Lab creates High Point University print and digital marketing materials. We assist university departments with their project needs and manage the projects from concept to completion. This position will work closely with the team at the Design Lab. The team consists of the Senior Director, Project Manager, Print Buyer and 2 Graphic Artists.
As a part of the team this position will experience the day-to-day operations and learn how the department supports the Office of Communication and the university.
Job Location/ Hours Required
The candidate will perform all job duties in (HPU Design Lab - off campus - 806 Westchester Dr.). Hours may vary depending on the job requirements; however, the total number of hours a student employee may work per week is 20 hours. This position is up to 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:

• Marking up files with edits and proofreading projects
• Designing and making edits to marketing materials
• Updating project information in the Air Table databases
• Filing invoices and samples
• Other duties as assigned

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite design products and Photoshop
• Computer skills with Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent time management skills
• Self-motivated
• Attention to detail
