The company is currently seeking a Mailroom and File Clerk.
Position Summary/ Primary Purpose
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager the mailroom/File Clerk is responsible for performing all mail services, office supplies and general clerical duties relating to the building operation.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Records filing, transfer, retrieval and re-file duties. File maintenance, records regarding postage, parcels, special handling.
- Errands, both inside and outside the building - delivers and/or picks up materials or supplies.
- Miscellaneous duties related to Mail Room and File Storage operations, or clerical duties. May work irregular hours.
- Driving - may operate company vehicle in performance of duties.
- Maintain pool vehicles (regular maintenance) and ensure reservations for travelers are fulfilled.
- Assist with all phases of mail distribution, inter-office as well as outgoing mail and express services; sort, deliver, collect, weigh, affix postage; transports company mail.
- Receive, store, and issue office supplies. Count and sort incoming supplies to verify receipt of items on requisitions or invoices; examining incoming supplies to verify conformance to specifications; store supplies on shelves according to identifying information; fill orders and issue supplies from stock; and maintain inventory supplies.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1-2 years’ experience.
- Must have and be able to maintain valid driver's license; good driving record.

Demonstrated Physical Abilities
Remain stationary for 50% of the time; able to perform light to heavy lifting, up to 50#; move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence.
