Duties:
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files for court cases
- Sort and categorize documents for easy retrieval
- Scan and digitize paper documents
- Create and update file indexes and tracking systems (OnBase EDI system)
- Ensure files meet compliance standards and stored in designated locations
- Retrieve requested files for attorneys, courts and public
- Prepares various forms for Michigan Department of Public Health, Secretary of State, and Supreme Court
- Processes payments, assists in jury selection process , other various clerical duties
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in typing, using computer software, knowledge of legal terminology
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, make impartial decisions, act with integrity
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with clerical tasks and office procedures
- Previous experience in Courts (legal), criminal justice or records management is a plus
- Willingness to learn, good attendance, engage in positive customer service

Pay: $18.56 - $24.13 per hour
