We are looking for an experienced IT Technician to provide technical support across our multifaceted company and to ensure smooth running of computer systems and software to provide ease of workflow. We are a New Mexico nonprofit corporation with 16 stores throughout the state. The IT Technician will act as the second line of response to requests for various hardware, software, peripheral, and networking technical assistance. Base pay starting at $41,400/year, negotiable DOE.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adherence to the attendance and punctuality policies of Goodwill.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills as related to the position.
- Troubleshoot routine end-user software and hardware issues.
- MS Office support for users with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook issues.
- Maintain Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Maintain standard operating procedures and other written documentation related to IT
- Maintain confidentially of all privileged information.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
- Configure and troubleshoot file & print services.
- Support corporate Antivirus (Symantec Endpoint Protection)
- Maintain Remote Monitoring & Ticketing Systems (VSA/BMS)
- Email Support & Setup Including Exchange and Office 365.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance.
Requirements
- Knowledge of organizational practices, policies and procedures and compliance with same.
- Knowledge of and compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of application security and user role profile management.
- Skill in verbal and written communication and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Ability to carry out instructions in verbal and written format.
- Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds and people with disabilities.
- Ability to work extended hours and various work schedules.

- Knowledge of a variety of software, technologies, and applications.
- Computer Networking 3 years (Preferred) Help desk: 2 years (Preferred)
- Knowledge of VOIP (Mitel/Shoretel system preferred)
- Strong Knowledge in Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10 & Server 2016 & up.
- Physical workstation, laptop, and server setup experience.
- Strong Knowledge in DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP.
- Strong Knowledge of Network Troubleshooting, Switching, Routing and Firewalls.
- Skill in reviewing and analyzing complex technical manuals or journals.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; see, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, walk, and stand. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift/move up to 25lbs and may occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception. Travel as required.
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and or abilities required for the position. Individuals must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Individuals must have a valid New Mexico driver's license, liability insurance, insurability under the agency insurance carrier, dependable vehicle and a clean driving record.
- Associates degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or information technology related field.
- Three - five year's related work experience in the IT function, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
