Internship Details to Know
The Kendra Scott Summer Internship Program offers a hands-on experience inside our rapidly growing multi-category fashion lifestyle brand. We value you. In our program, we are dedicated to shaping your unique interests and career aspirations, equipping you for success in your career and life.
Basics
- 10-week, paid experience in Austin, TX ($17/hr)
- The internship will begin on June 4th and end August 7th
- Must be willing to relocate to Austin, TX for the summer and potential future FT role
- Applicants should apply for the internship they are most interested in pursuing
- Applicants that apply for multiple opportunities will not be considered
- Sponsorship assistance is not currently provided
- The deadline for internship applications is November 3, 2023, at 11:59 pm PST
- Candidates will be informed of their status throughout our process, with final offers being extended in December 2023
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors Degree with an expected graduation date of May 2024, December 2024, or May 2025
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
- Reside within the vicinity of Kendra Scott HQ, Austin, TX or have the ability to obtain housing during the internship (no relocation costs will be offered)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, OneDrive and SharePoint

Position Overview
We are seeking a self-directed IT intern with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor.
Responsibilities
Participate in projects throughout all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle).
Apply IT knowledge and skills to propose action, designs, provide technical coordination, or conduct implementation activities to drive IT solutions.
Conduct research, gather and interpret requirements, conduct analysis and/or develop recommendations and artifacts related to IT processes and/or products.
Assist in documenting business requirements and flow diagrams.
Assist Architect and System Engineers to develop/configure small sized project.
Assist the team in creating the test plan and tracking progress of testing.
Assist the testing team in executing end-to-end testing and creating daily status reports.
Create and update JIRA tickets for defect tracking.
Create technical and end user documentation and training for system modifications and business process changes.
Perform other related duties as required or assigned by mentor.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in computer science or information technology.
Ability to work within a team dynamic and independently, as situationally necessary.
Basic understanding of SQL and JAVA.
