Title: IT Business Systems Analyst                                                    

Reports to: IT Director

Position Overview:

The IT Business Systems Analyst is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing databases for Center programs. Activities involve interaction with various departments and end-user personnel to determine all pertinent data required to develop and maintain systems. The IT Business Systems Analyst will also focus on the strategic development, optimization, & maintenance of the organization’s IT systems. This individual will be a technical specialist collaborating with various departments to understand data needs, process efficiencies, & ensure optimal system operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Strategic Systems Management: Provide expert recommendations & strategic input to optimize IT systems, ensuring alignment with organizational needs & goals.
• Systems Maintenance & Optimization: Oversee & maintain key organizational databases, ensuring operational excellence & advanced troubleshooting of issues.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose & resolve intricate system issues, going beyond typical user support to ensure uninterrupted system operations.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with different departments to understand & meet their data & process requirements.
• Report & Query Management: Build & maintain intricate reports & queries as needed, to ensure the availability of essential data for organizational processes & decision-making.
• Data Management & Security: Safely import mass data between systems, ensuring data integrity, security, & compliance with relevant policies & regulations.
• Project Management: Lead & oversee IT-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, & meet organizational goals.
• Training: Lead & coordinate training sessions & creating manuals, ensuring team members are proficient & up to date with the latest system standards & best practices.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, & best practices, ensuring the organization’s IT systems are cutting-edge & efficient.
• Analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• degree or equivalent experience, with preference for additional specialized certifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT systems management or a related role.
• Experience in project management, ensuring the successful execution of IT initiatives.
• Proficiency in CRM & EMR systems such as ClientTrack, TakeChargeTexas, eClinicalWorks, & E2Dallas or experience with similar database/software systems.
• Ability to provide strategic input, troubleshoot advanced issues, & lead IT projects.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills, with a detail-oriented & analytical mindset.
• Familiarity with industry-specific software solutions & the ability to adapt to new tools.
