Scope of Job
RCM is seeking candidates for the IT Systems Administrator position. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's computer systems, networks, and servers with the main objective ensuring the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure and end-user computing environment, aiming for the highest functionality. Additional responsibilities will include troubleshooting problem areas (in person, by remote tools, by telephone, or via chat) in a timely and accurate fashion; providing end-user assistance where required; and analyzing needs, assessing systems and/or process, and making recommendations for system acquisition.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and maintaining systems: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that systems are operating efficiently and securely. This involves tasks such as applying software updates and patches, managing backups, and addressing security vulnerabilities.
- User support and troubleshooting: Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, assisting with system access, and addressing user inquiries.
- Network security: Manage security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy and protection from attacks, ensuring security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
- Coaching and mentoring: Provide orientation and guidance to users and support staff on systems operation, standard procedures, and best practices. Additionally, they provide input to evaluation of team performance.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience with: Windows server / Active Directory, VMware ESXi, Linux, Azure/Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact positively with and train users, make presentations, and to write basic documentation.
- Ability to organize and schedule upgrades and coordinate activities between Information Technology team and other teams without deterring others from completing their work.
- Ability to define requirements for technical projects and work directly with stakeholders.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Understanding of scripting tools
- Develop standards for the operation of system hardware and software.
- Ability to travel between locations as needed for support.
- Degree in Computer Science, network administration or engineering or relevant field
- Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience hands-on with IT Systems Administration and Support
- Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
- One or more professional level Windows or network certifications is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

Compensation Range
Pay $80 - $90K yr.
