Salary: $66,576 - $99,215/year
Job Duties:

• Provides coordination and administration of operations for the Road & Bridge Maintenance Division
• Plans, organizes, and coordinates the operation and activities of a work force of 54 employees performing maintenance, safety, fleet services, research and utility construction and administrations.
• Responsible for the preparation and management of an annual budget of $8,000,000.
• .Directs matters of construction, repair and maintenance of projects for 430 miles of roadway, 84 bridges, 5000 culverts and the maintenance and repairs of 200+ departmental and interdepartmental vehicles and equipment at the Vehicle Service Center
• Responsible for methods of construction, product selection and evaluation of programs, applications, road conditions, etc., to provide solutions for all Road & Bridge functions

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering, Business or related field with emphasis in construction management.
• Three years of administrative/professional work experience in road construction/ maintenance techniques, i.e. road building, maintenance/repairs, and the operation and utilization of various types of light and heavy construction equipment, including at least three years of experience in supervising personnel, scheduling and prioritizing maintenance and construction projects.
• Must possess a valid Missouri Driver's License.
• Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
