Design Air is seeking a skilled System Administrator to maintain, upgrade, and manage our software, hardware, and networks. The System Administrator be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and servers, providing technical support to our employees, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain all systems, applications, security, and network configurations
• Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
• Provide technical support and guidance to users
• Work with other System Administrators to determine areas of priority and distribute tasks
• Develop and maintain all systems, applications, security, and network configurations
• Install and configure software, hardware, and networks
• Manage and maintain active directory
• Company-wide asset management
• Create standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure user consistency within the system
• After hours support as needed
• All other duties as assigned
Requirements
• A minimum of an associate degree in information systems, computer science, or related field is required
• 5+ years of experience in IT support preferred
• Experience in P21 (Prophet 21) preferred
• Experience using an IT ticket system, manage engine service desk plus preferred
• Experience in maintaining and administering data and voice networks preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to shift priorities, solve problems, and multitask to support business needs
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work with a diverse group of professionals in close collaboration
• Willing to work at heights of up to 20 ft. and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Willingness to travel to branch locations as required, approximately 10% of the time
