IT Systems Administrator
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum uptime and stability in our company’s computer systems, networks, and proprietary software. You will handle the daily administration of network and server environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Unix / Linux operating systems and related systems software. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting network performance, implementing upgrades and patches, and supporting cloud-based environments.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure maximum uptime and stability in the company’s computer systems and networks.
- Daily administration of network and server environments, including but not limited to installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization’s UNIX / LINUX operating systems and all related systems software.
- Detects, diagnoses, and reports UNIX / LINUX related problems on server systems.
- Daily administration of cloud-based environments: AWS and Lunavi
- Daily administration of HL7 interfaces including client set-up/transfers, monitoring, and debugging of transfer issues from SFTP server
- Monitors network performance, troubleshoots issues, and deploys solutions.
- Plans and implements upgrades, patches and new applications and equipment installation.
- Uses scripting and writes basic programs to automate processes.
- Support and enhance proprietary software using PHP including Laravel framework and MySQL.
- Maintains and follows disaster recovery, security, backup, and restore plans.
- Evaluates new tools or equipment and performs analysis/feasibility studies to guide decisions on optimizing network performance.
- Monitors and maintains software licensing agreements.
- Perform operating system updates, package updates, product updates, and SSL certifications.
- Ensures compliance with all security standards.
- User administration, support, and security across multiple platforms.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Related Associates/bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as math, computer science, information systems
- Experience in Unix / Linux, SFTP, VPN, HL7 Interface Management, PHP, SQL, Database Administration
- Healthcare related exposure or experience

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
