We are seeking an entry level Systems Administrator to join our IT team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's computer systems and networks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing technical support to our employees.
```Duties:```
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware components
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity
- Manage user accounts and permissions
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement security measures and protect against cyber threats
- Provide technical support to end-users and assist with resolving IT-related issues
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides and troubleshooting procedures
```Skills:```
- Linux/Unix Admin skillset including webservers, database, and upgrade/patch/maintenance
- Basic knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other database management systems
- Basic skills in scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell
- Experience with virtualization technologies like AWS and Proxmox
- Familiarity with network protocols, VPN configurations, and firewall management
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and IT best practices
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
