Job Overview
Davies US is looking for an IT Support Technician to help with working with onsite employees to resolve support requests by phone, email, and in person. You will learn how to set up and use various tools and programs used to support our company’s needs and business processes. Reporting to the IT Analyst, you will use the knowledge and tools provided to support our staff and see requests through to resolution. You will frequently work with onsite IT to maintain services and inventory, as well as escalate the more complex issues.

To be successful in this role, you need have superb communication skills, verbal and written, conducted in a timely manner, proactive, independent, and takes initiative with consistent follow through and superior time management skills with capability of working with and meeting deadlines. You must have basic troubleshooting knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10+, administration / Setup of Microsoft 365, basic understanding of Active Directory, Domains, & Group Policies, ability to configure network equipment, basic understanding, or ability to set up routers / switches and wireless access points, experience with a help desk ticketing system and experience with RMM software (Atera, Automation, etc.) is a plus. Additionally, you will need to be an excellent team player with interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure on multiple workstreams to meet tight deadlines and a high-level attention to detail and problem-solving skills. This role is a full-time, position located in Coppell TX and will require working outside of business hours and being on-call at times.

Experience and Qualifications
Required
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10+
  • Administration / Setup of Microsoft 365
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory, Domains, & Group Policies
  • Ability to configure network equipment
  • Basic understanding or ability to set up routers / switches and wireless access points.
  • Experience with a help desk ticketing system.
  • Experience with RMM software (Atera, Automation, etc. ) is a plus.
Preferred
  • One year experience in Help Desk, troubleshooting, maintaining and installing the technologies listed above.

Essential Requirements
  • Must have US work rights

Position Type, Work Environment and Physical Demands
This is a home-based, full time, salaried, exempt position that predominantly operates remotely from a professional home-based office environment routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, and scanners and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer. While performing the duties of this job, the individual will be required to regularly hear and talk. This is a largely sedentary role requiring the ability to sit at a desk, reach outward, use a phone, have use of fingers to operate office equipment such as a keyboard, mouse, phone, printer, copier, and to reach above the head, bend, or stand as necessary.
