Job Description
Seeking an experienced Information Technology Support Technician (‘IT Technician’) to assist the IT Manager in the implementation, management, and maintenance of multi-location company's network & associated equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Research, evaluate, and propose technical solutions for various company processes.
- Respond timely to users having problems (‘help desk’) with hardware and/or software.
- Monitor daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Research & recommend new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
- Test, troubleshoot, and modify information systems to operate effectively.
- Generate performance reports for operating systems.
- Execute all IT duties in conformance with the parameters of applicable laws, codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify & Evaluate technology risks to assist in developing a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
- Remain up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.
Information Technology (IT) Support Technician Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
- Education and/or Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
- Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows software, including server, office, and exchange.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift; overtime when required
- Monday to Friday
- On call
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay (end-of-year profit share potential)
