4 Corner Resources is hiring an IT Support Specialist Tier II for a local private school in Hopkins, Minnesota. The IT Support Specialist is a highly involved individual that provides exceptional customer service to staff, and faculty and supports/troubleshoots applications, devices, desktops, networks, Windows and iOS operating systems to ensure all school’s computers, network and all telecommunications systems run successfully. This is a direct hire in-person opportunity IT Support Specialist Tier II Qualifications: At least three (3) years of experience in service desk management and user IT support.
Minimum Associate degree or two-year technical degree in relevant fieldExperience in MS Windows, Apple macOS, iOS, tvOSBasic knowledge of Jamf 100 and Jamf 200Proficient in service ticket systems, such as ServiceNow, Jira or othersExperience in Active Directory/Azure and cloud-based directory and identity management Strong written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail Strong troubleshooting skills, problem-solving skills and judgementIndustry or Application Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, ACMT, ACSP, JAMF, MCSA, MCSE, ITIL – PreferredIT Support Specialist Tier II Job Duties:Provide support to all users for all mobile, laptops, desktop and A/V systems throughout the school locationsDiagnose and resolve technical troubles with software, hardware, connectivity, and applications including security issuesManage service ticketing system to record, update, escalate and close ticketsOffer training and support technology colleagues to assist staff and facultyCollaborate with IT Managers to ensure network health and security Track and maintain accurate inventory records in asset management and JAMFSupport end-user accounts, permissions and in selecting, configuring, and integrating new applications and servicesIT Support Specialist Tier II Compensation:Yearly salary ranges between 60,000 – 70,000 based on experience Schedule:Monday to Friday business hours 4CR3
