Our company is a global organization with a dynamic IT infrastructure, and this role will primarily support our US and Geneva employees. We are seeking a Tier 1 ICT Service Desk Specialist who possesses effective communication skills and a passion for providing quality customer service. This role will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware, and will respond to customers in person, over the phone, or via email using Anteris’ IT ticketing system.
Primary Responsibilities:
Help Desk Support (70%):
- Serve as the first point of contact for staff seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnose, research and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Effectively advise and assist staff on appropriate action.
- Provide accurate information on IT products and services.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
- Maintain the highest possible level of staff service.
- Produce accurate, effective training content.
- Other duties as assigned.
Infrastructure Maintenance (30%):
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize on-prem Microsoft Windows HyperV servers.
- Security Patching and updates on HyperV servers and Computers
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows and Linux virtual servers.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of IT Support experience
- Strong operational experience with M365, MS Teams, SharePoint, Zoom
- Strong operational experience with Windows 10/11
- This role is 50% based in Eagan and 50% in Maple Grove - reliable transportation is essential
Desirable Experience:
- ConnectWise Automate Experience
- Active Directory and Microsoft Azure AD
- Cisco Meraki, and Palo Alto systems
- Apple; Mac and iOS

Other Information: This role will require periodic collaboration with our US, Geneva, and Australia-based teams. The candidate might need to work in different time zones occasionally, and should be flexible in terms of availability.
