Central + Priority Pediatrics is looking for a full-time IT Support Specialist to join our growing practice. Our team of kid experts provide high quality patient care in a welcoming and family-friendly environment and are seeking a professional individual with exceptional analytical, customer service and IT experience who shares that passion to become a part of our amazing team!
This IT Support Specialist will support all users in the organization with all aspects of the electronic medical records program, eClinicalWorks (eCW), including new implementations, maintenance, and updates in the program or workflows. This position will also be available for on-site support and system training for all organization areas and will serve as a resource for physicians and staff providing excellent customer service professionally. This position requires critical thinking skills, problem solving skills and multi-tasking skills.
Qualified candidates will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, superior customer service, be highly motivated, have a positive attitude and be a team player. Candidate must also be reliable, able to multi-task, have strong computer skills and work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position has multiple duties and responsibilities and is perfect for someone who has great organizational skills, pays attention to detail, and enjoys a busy atmosphere.
Essential Functions:
- Provide onsite support to assist users with daily workflow, address questions and issues related to eClinicalWorks (eCW), and resolve IT support requests from employees
- Follow protocols for standard troubleshooting and aiding in resolve
- Participate in implementation and transition to new modules/upgrades/workflows as needed
- Work with departments to assist with process improvement, integration, and efficiency related to software improvement
- Assist with workflow redesign and processes as assigned
- Gather and analyze data to aid in quality measures
Education: High school diploma required
In-person, In-clinic. Must be willing to commute between our Woodbury and Roseville clinic locations.
Experience/Knowledge:
- Electronic Medical Record super user or trainer preferred
- Knowledge of the eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic health record system preferred
- Experience working in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of applications within EMR program
- High level knowledge of commonly used software, hardware, and applications
- Knowledge of healthcare practices and workflows
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence Software
Highly Preferred Skills:
- Creating fillable forms using Adobe Acrobat
- Tenant management for Microsoft 365 for enterprise
- IBM Cognos - Query Studio and Report Studio
- Skilled in computer desktop support
- Data-based reporting
- HIPAA Compliance
- Strong oral communication skills to gather information from employees and explain complex technical concepts in simple language
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose issues
