Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with team members to execute IT integration projects, assessing risks and potential impacts.
- Engage with incoming acquisitions to inventory and understand their data and IT infrastructure.
- Conduct audits of acquisition environments to identify essential migration requirements.
- Manage the end user data migration process, ensuring integrity and employee satisfaction.
- Facilitate the seamless transition of users into Alta's IT environment.
- Oversee and coordinate necessary upgrades or endpoint replacements.
- Ensure all migrations meet Alta's stringent IT regulatory compliance standards.
- Coordinate with our infrastructure team to plan and execute on the migrations of network, server, and phone environments.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and escalation point for post-migration issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes post-migration.
- Forge a deep understanding of Alta's IT and business environment, becoming a critical resource for unique IT problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years of experience in IT engineering, system administrator or advanced support roles.
- Proficiency with Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Experience with Windows Server environments and familiarity with non-Windows environments
- Practical experience with PowerShell for managing Windows and M365 environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for innovation.
- Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use hands, sit, talk/hear; Occasionally will stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Vision: Close vision, ability to adjust focus.
- Lift and/or Move Functions: Occasionally will lift up to 25 pounds
- Work Environment: Occasionally will work near moving mechanical parts
