Create, execute, and evaluate manual and automated test plans and test cases for Vehicle Software Management Systems (VSMS) applications from system Feature Integration perspective. Integrate, test, and verify software applications for GM conventional ICE passenger vehicle and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) (passenger car, truck and sport utility vehicle) embedded telematics and infotainment Electronic Control Units (ECUs), including Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), Body Control Module (BCM), Center Stack Module (CSM), Virtual Cockpit Unit (VCU), In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI), Central Gateway Module (CGM), Engine Control Module (ECM), OnStar Core Module (telematics) and ~30 other vehicle modules, in Java, C and QNX programming languages, for future model year vehicle programs and global markets (China, North America, South America, and Rest of World), to meet vehicle specific electrical architecture, system, security, safety and encoding requirements. Design, develop, execute and verify automation test scripts using Python programing language, using an integrated development environment PyCharm and open-source test automation framework Robot Framework IDE (RIDE) for performance and stability testing of embedded infotainment application features and ECUs.
Additional Description
Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as an Engineer, or related role. Must also have experience with: integrating, testing and verifying software applications for passenger vehicle embedded Electronic Control Units (ECUs) including Virtual Cockpit Unit (VCU), Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), Body Control Module (BCM), in Java and QNX programming languages.
