Job Description
- Engineer, test, debug, validate, and release embedded electronic control units (ECU) in current and future GM conventional Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) passenger vehicle and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) (passenger car, truck, sport utility vehicle) Body Control Module (BCM), Exterior Lighting Module (ELM), Hands Free Vehicle Access (HFVA) Module, Hands Free Vehicle Access Sensor (HFVS), Passive Entry Passive Start Antennas (PEPS Antennas), and ELM Animation and Choreography features, using MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, IBM Rational DOORS, IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC), IBM Rational Rhapsody and Vehicle Spy tools, and neoVI FIRE2 hardware, following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Perform and review Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Analysis (CA) with suppliers on electronic control unit (ECU) test failures during supplier design validation (DV) and supplier product validation (PV) processes in laboratory.
- Develop and support projects that drive 100% Virtual Design Development Validation (VDDV) initiatives.
Additional Job Description
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related field.
- Two (2) years of experience as a Engineer, Developer, Consultant, or related role. Experience with e ngineering and testing electronic control unit (ECU) in passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle or locomotive, using MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and IBM rational DOORS tools.
