POSITION: IT Field Support Technician
Nouria is seeking a motivated IT Field Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct technical support to our store & carwash systems. This includes taking ownership of IT issues, ensuring the appropriate escalations, and assisting in determining the root causes while completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Install or upgrade hardware and software at job sites including routine maintenance of technology equipment.
· Troubleshoot wired and wireless networking connections for a variety of devices.
· Collaborate and escalate issues to internal or vendor support as needed and follow through to resolution.
· Repair/replace and test various hardware including PCs, peripherals, POS systems, network devices, IoT devices, tablets, wireless access points, CCTV, etc. including cables.
· Work independently, manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines including detailed service tickets/reports.
· Rotating weekend schedule as well as on-call responsibilities. Flexible with the actual work and the hours of operation.
· Perform other support and related duties as requested.
· Travel to retail facilities in Massachusetts/New Hampshire primarily includes occasional travel in CT, ME, NY, and RI for contingency coverage.
· Works within the team or under guidance from supervisor to meet service delivery requirements within own area of responsibility.
· Builds positive relationships with internal and external customers to deliver and enhance service.
· Maintaining all tools and equipment used during service calls to ensure quality of work.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Associate degree in a related technical field or equivalent certification.
· Minimum one year IT field experience is required, two years preferred.
· Proven experience installing, testing, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
· Proficient in Windows operating systems, office software & network technologies including experience in troubleshooting techniques.
· Previous experience with data/telecom cabling, jacks & patch panels is strongly preferred.
· Ability to safely climb ladders (cabling, ceiling-mounted devices, etc.) and carry up to 40 pounds.
· Strong multi-tasking and critical thinking skills.
· Work experience in the retail industry is desired.
· Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record required.
