we are seeking an IT Business Analyst who will optimize business processes by liaising with business users and our technical team. This position will report directly to a Project Manager with geographic flexibility to work remotely offered by Tanger’s hub-and-spoke approach to a modern Teams-driven workplace.

About the Role:

As the IT Business Analyst, you will optimize business processes by liaising within business users (e.g., Operations, People & Culture, Legal, and Commercial). You will create documentation, define business requirements, and translate those artifacts for development. You will coordinate technical development initiatives from discovery to release including scope definition, scheduling, and release management.

How you will contribute to what we do:

• Forge strong relationships with all internal business partners.
• Initiate discovery meetings with internal business partners to define processes, requirements, and the ideal user experience.
• Collaborate with vendor and/or internal development team to refine requirements and deliverables including process flows, and storyboarding.
• Analyze processes and recommend improvements, efficiencies, and technical solutions.
• Create and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria for revised features or enhancements.
• Validate software requirements and designs with all stakeholders.
• Facilitate, design and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required.
• Present or “demo” new features and enhancements to the business for approval.
• Troubleshoot application specific user errors that the help desk escalates.

About You:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Real Estate or equivalent experience in a related field and one (1) plus years of experience in project management. Two (2) years of Agile/Scrum experience or a Scrum Master certification, and experience with an agile platform is preferred.
• You have experience with project management tracking forms such as ADO, Jira, Microsoft Projects, Smartsheet, or Lucid Charts
• You have effective problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• You are highly organized, can keep large amounts of notes and tasks in order.
• You can clearly communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing to development team members.
• You are comfortable engaging business owners of all levels, end users, and engineers alike, and translate each groups’ language for the appropriate audience.
• You are excellent at visualizing and documenting processes using charting software (LucidChart, Visio, etc.).
• You can collaborate with a variety of roles and department specific workflow on large initiatives.
• You can independently own smaller tasks from conception to execution.

Hiring Range Disclaimer

The base hiring range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Tanger's total compensation package for employees.

Hiring Range:$69,300 - $96,800 per year
