We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Architect to partner with key SBU stakeholders and IT delivery teams to provide innovative business solutions and support.
Candidate will identify and recommend process and product improvements within multiple lines of business, keeping and progressing the alignment of business and technology strategies.
Applying business, industry and technical expertise, the candidate will lead and/or be a key teammate in the evaluation, design, development, implementation, and support of system solutions that not only meet requirements, but also drive growth and deliver an excellent user experience.
Responsibilities:
Partner with SBU stakeholders to develop IT strategy that supports and aligns with business strategy.
Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
Build fluency in business processes, customer journeys and associate experiences to provide thoughtful, integrated end-to-end solutions.
Initiate projects and continuous improvement requests; engage business and functional teams to refine idea and case for change.
Gather and analyze requirements to drive scope, solution recommendations, design, and implementation plans.
Collaborate closely with technical teams to architect, develop, test, and deploy solutions that fulfill business needs, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
Coordinate stakeholder communications and test plans
Create, maintain, and communicate risk and issue logs, progress updates and status summaries.
Manage vendor relationships, holding vendors accountable to contracts and service level agreements.
Support and/or manage system conversions, upgrades, and enhancements.
Serve as a liaison between business and IT teams for operational requests, incidents, and escalations; proactively inform, manage, and update on issues.
Lead operational excellence and problem management activities to improve IT services and customer experience.
Drive the adoption of standard work processes, standard application functionality and data standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree; Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related technical field
10+ years of software development and deployment or business analysis experience, with a demonstrated history of success and progression
Completion of at least two large software ERP implementations in the role of techno-functional resource or proven history of performing lead role(s) on successful delivery of large, complex projects
Knowledge of integration best practices and integration technology; Oracle Platforms, Retail Platforms, data warehouse, data hubs, etc
Experience with ancillary application, agile, monitoring, log analytical and security tools (Jira, Splunk, Informatica MDM, Database (Relational, Non-relational), Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL, .Net, Java, C Share)
Experience in design and architecture review, software development life cycle management and maintenance projects
Good knowledge of process modeling/analysis, project management, business case development, problem solving techniques
Should be familiar with audit and compliance to ensure systems and processes are compliant.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate processes, perform root cause analysis, recommend best practice solutions, and track resolutions.
Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate how business requirements can be achieved with any toolset.
Ability to handle multiple high priority projects and tasks, independently with precise detail and follow-up.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience working in large scale enterprise, with matrixed organization and multiple stakeholders.
Experience and desire to work in a global, technology environment with teams from diverse environments.
Travel up to 15% in the future may be required.
