The Portage Capital Solutions team is looking for an individual who is highly analytical and deeply passionate about fintech and financial services to join our team in New York or Toronto as an Investment Intern. This role focuses on evaluating growth and later-stage investment opportunities and providing steadfast support to our portfolio companies.

The Portage Capital Solutions team is looking for an individual who is highly analytical and deeply passionate about fintech and financial services to join our team in New York or Toronto as an Investment Intern. This role focuses on evaluating growth and later-stage investment opportunities and providing steadfast support to our portfolio companies.
Your Responsibilities
- Own analyses on new investment opportunities (e.g., financial, market, company diligence) with relevant oversight
- Contribute to theses development to identify themes and investable opportunities
- Assist portfolio companies with key initiatives
- Support portfolio and fund analyses, including supervising our pipeline and consolidating critical metrics across portfolios
Experience and Qualifications
- Self-driven with the ability to take initiative, prioritize, and operate with limited guidance while managing multiple workstreams
- Analytical and comfortable structuring quantitative analysis
- Grit and team mentality, willingness to do whatever is necessary to support the team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and articulate thoughts about companies and markets concisely
- Demonstrated interest in financial services and technology
