The NRP Group, LLC is looking for a Development Summer Intern to work in our NYC office.

What to Expect:

Our paid summer internship gives you the opportunity to work on multiple projects and gain real-world experience in the multi-family housing industry outside of the classroom. As aDevelopment Intern, you will apply the knowledge you’ve gained in the classroom, while also receiving support by your department team and manager.

• Gain exposure to market research, submarket analysis and performing acquisitions due diligence

• Learn about current multi-family deal flow in designated markets

• Work with project managers on building, managing and maintaining pipeline of land for new development

• Identify potential development sites and evaluate multi-family land opportunities

• Work with financial models to evaluate economic viability of potential development opportunities

• Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials

Education:

• Undergraduate or graduate-level degree in Real Estate Development or related field or MBA

Experience:

• Previous intern experience in real estate or business preferred

• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities

• Demonstrated interested in real estate

Skills:

• Proven adaptability to changing strategies and priorities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Basic financial acumen

• Ability to negotiate with others

• Experience with Microsoft Excel

• Ability to collaborate with others

Additional Requirements:

• Must not require visa sponsorship currently or in the future

• Some work-from-home flexibility but most work must be done in the Midtown office

• Salary range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
