Job Description
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Receive, process, and organize all incoming packages using computer software.
- Pick, pack, and ship all outgoing packages using external vendors (such as UPS, FedEx) for all e-commerce, internal branch locations, and external customers received through email and phone orders.
- Monitor, track, and process all information regarding incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Communicate any delays, shortages, etc. to the appropriate internal or external customers.
- Enter data daily using CRM software including, but not limited to, processing purchase order receipts and generating customer invoices.
- Prepare, review, complete, and retain documentation for shipping and receiving activities.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Identify, improve, and/or resolve priorities, deadlines, expectations, and discrepancies.
- Other duties as requested
You are a great fit if you have/able to:
- A strong eye for details and excellent organizational skills
- Computer skills
- Experience with Sage or similar CRM software, highly desired
- Respond to incoming and outbound calls and emails with a sense of urgency
- Shipping/Receiving experience domestically and internationally with vendors such as UPS Worldwide, FedEx, LTL Couriers
- Warehouse experience
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Motivation/Drive/Desire to learn and to grow with company
- Forklift certification (or be able to obtain once hired)
- Work in a partially climate-controlled environment
- Experience with setting up inventory management systems (Bin/location of item), highly desired
